ReliefAI Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how ReliefAI Health, Inc. (“ReliefAI”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through its website, its web portal (the “Portal”) for medical providers (each, a “Provider”), and its mobile application (the “Application”) for patients of Providers (each, a “Patient”). The website, Portal, and Application are collectively referred to in this Policy as the “Services”.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW WE USE IT. As explained further in this section, you will have the opportunity to provide us with certain personal information. In addition, we may collect certain personal information automatically through your use of the Services. The rest of this section provides a more detailed explanation of the personal information we collect, and how we use that personal information.

2.1 Voluntarily Disclosed Information. The following table identifies the specific purposes for which you may voluntarily disclose personal information to us, along with our lawful bases for processing that personal information.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information. Whenever you interact with the Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, device identification, data collected via tracking technologies, the amount of time spent on the Services, and the page or feature you requested. You can learn more about our use of cookies and related tracking technologies in our Cookie Policy. We use the data we automatically collect from you for security, fraud prevention, to improve the Services, and marketing.

3. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. We may disclose your personal information as detailed in this section.

3.1 Personnel and Third Party Service Providers. We employ personnel and engage other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your personal information with them to provide products or services to you. For example, we use a third party payment processor to process payments on our behalf. As another example, all data that we receive is stored on servers hosted by AWS.

3.2 Providers. Providers will have access to any personal information submitted by their Patients.

3.3 Marketing for Providers. For Provider Representatives who visit ReliefAI’s website, those Provider Representatives may be shown advertisements for ReliefAI on third party websites, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Please see our Cookie Policy for more information about the tracking technologies we use on our website to enable those advertisements.

3.4 Analytics Services. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with our Services. You can learn more about the information that Google has access to at the following website: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

3.5 Business Transfers. If we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.

3.6 Legal Compliance. We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to comply with governmental requests, law enforcement or court orders, or enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements.

4. SECURITY. We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. In addition, we rely on the technical safeguards provided by the third party service providers we use to host, store, and process your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant that your personal information on the Services may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

5. YOUR RIGHTS. You have the right to access, modify, and delete your personal information. However, if you are a Patient and we have collected your personal information from your Provider or otherwise at the instruction of your Provider, applicable law may give your Provider the right to control how we dispose of your personal information (including health records). With that in mind, please reach out to your Provider if you would like us to take any actions with respect to your personal information. If you reach out to us directly, we will contact your Provider to ensure any request is addressed in accordance with applicable law.

6. RETENTION OF INFORMATION. Subject to your right (or the right of your Provider) to request deletion of your personal information in accordance with Section 5, we will retain your personal information as long as needed for your use of the Services, your approved receipt of marketing communications from us, our compliance with legal obligations, and to protect our or other’s interests.

7. HOW WE RESPOND TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS. We will honor your exercise of your rights with respect to your personal information in accordance with Section 5. Apart from those rights, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

8. AGE OF USERS. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to use, access or register for the Services in any way. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 18, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

9. CHANGES TO POLICY. We’re constantly trying to improve the Services, so we may need to change this Policy from time to time as well. The date of the last modification will be posted at the beginning of this Policy. It is your responsibility to check from time to time for updates. By continuing to access or use the Services, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by the modified Policy.

10. SMS TEXT MESSAGING. If you are a Patient, we may send you SMS text messages related to your use of the Application as described in this section.

10.1 Messages We Send. With your consent, we send account notifications related to your use of the Application, such as an invitation to join the Application, account and security notices, and reminders related to activities assigned by your Provider. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

10.2 Consent. Your consent to receive SMS text messages is collected by your Provider at the time of your enrollment and is recorded with your account. Consent to receive SMS text messages is not a condition of receiving care from your Provider or of using the Services.

10.3 Opting Out and Help. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP to any message, or contact support@reliefai.co, for assistance. Opting out of SMS text messages does not affect your enrollment with your Provider, and you may continue to receive communications from us by email.

10.4 Use and Disclosure of Mobile Information. We use your mobile phone number solely to deliver the messages described in this section. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Messages are delivered through a HIPAA-eligible messaging service provider pursuant to a Business Associate Agreement. This section supplements, and does not limit, Section 3 (Disclosure of Personal Information).

ReliefAI Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy provides information about cookies and similar technologies, such as web tokens (collectively referred to as “tracking technologies” in this policy), how we and third parties use them on the Services, and how you can manage our use of tracking technologies with respect to your experience on the Services. 

What Are Cookies and Web Tokens?

A cookie is a small text file that can be stored on and accessed from your device when you visit and use our Services.  The Services use cookies to analyze trends on the Services and track your movements around the Services. 

Web tokens are small digital codes we use to keep you securely logged in and to verify your identity while you use the Services. 

Tracking Technologies That We Use

We use third-party tracking technologies for analytics, marketing, and advertising. For example:

  • If you are a Provider Representative, we rely on third-party tracking technologies placed on our website by platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Google to display advertisements to you on those platforms. In order for those platforms to display advertisements to you, the platforms collect certain information about you when you visit our website, such as the pages you visit, the links you click, your IP address, your browser type, your device type, and how you arrived at our website. In addition to using this information to display ReliefAI’s advertisements to you, these platforms may use this information to display other advertisements to you. 

  • We use third party tracking services like Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with our Services. 

  • Our customer management vendor, Hubspot, uses tracking technologies on our Services to help us manage and engage our customer base.

Your Choices With Tracking Technologies

  • You can adjust Google’s ability to track your activity on our Services by adjusting your settings at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

  • You can view and adjust your ad settings on Facebook by following the instructions at this Facebook help page.
